Superlative hostel, awesome stay. Perfect location, central & in the station. Private bathroom in room, high-quality bedding. Free tea & coffee. Excellent staff, cute & helpful. Great restaurant with breakfast. Activities organized. Convenient for train & bus.

The guest rooms at Lillehammer Vandrerhjem Hostel are really cozy and comfortable. The private bathrooms and bed linen make you feel right at home. The triple room is great! It has its own private bathroom with a shower, which is perfect for freshening up after a long day. I love that the rooms on the upper floors can be easily reached by the lift, making it convenient for guests with heavy luggage. Staying in the triple room was so warm and snug thanks to the heating. It was a great relief from the chilly weather outside. The triple room also had a wardrobe, which made it easy to keep our belongings organized and tidy.
Personally, I found the rooms on the upper floors to be a bit noisy. But hey, some people might enjoy the liveliness!

We had a great stay at Stasjonen in Lillehammer. Arriving late at night was no problem, as our key was conveniently left in a post box. the room had a cozy and comfortable design, with everything we needed. the staff were very nice and helpful. the location, inside the train station, was super convenient for exploring the city on foot. the shared kitchen was also a great advantage. We enjoyed watching the trains from our room window, it was like trainspotting!

Incredible location with easy access to buses and trains, friendly and welcoming staff, spacious and clean rooms, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast, attention to detail in room amenities.

Great location next to the train station, perfect for young people traveling by train/bus. Easy check-in even after hours. Train spotting from the room window. Shared kitchen facilities.
Felt like part of the family, no complaints whatsoever.
